36 & 37 weeks {Moving threw a wrench into my blogging updates}
*How far along?: 37 weeks and 6 days
*Total weight gain: I blew up this past week, mostly due to water retention. My hands and feet are so swollen!! We moved last weekend and I was on my feet too much. According to my Dr’s scale yesterday I was +43 lbs. Nice, I love being puffy McPufferson. This happened with Jackson the last few weeks too, I just swell up like a balloon!
*How big is baby?: The size of a watermelon, anywhere from 18.9 – 20.9 inches and according to my Dr, probably around 7ish pounds.
*Sleep?: I’ve gotten used to the frequent potty breaks, so it is what it is.
*Best moment this week?: Moving into our new home. Building a home was an awesome experience and I can’t wait to live in our family home for a very long time!
*Movement?: Tons, this girl likes to boogie! She’s definitely gotten a lot lower so the movement feels different.
*Food cravings?:Iced {decaf} coffee
*Labor signs?: I had a little scare Saturday night with contractions every 30 minutes for several hours. They did go away once I went to bed though, thankfully. I am not ready for her to arrive yet 🙂
*Belly button in or out?: An outie for the first time in my life!
*What I miss: Not having aches and pains and being able to see my ankle bones.
*What I’m looking forward to: Baby girl’s furniture arrives today and then my Grandma will help me put her clothes away. Next week is baby time 🙂 Oh yeah, seeing my ankle bones again too. (Don’t worry nurse/Dr friends, my OB says the swelling is normal from being active, blood pressure is still great!)
ALMOST there!! You look amazing and I cannot wait to “meet” baby girl!!
Thanks Becca!!!
Girl, I swelled up like a balloon, too! When I entered the hospital I was +35 pounds and when I was discharged I was back to my pre-pregnancy weight. Hope the edema isn’t too painful… no one ever tells you that swelling can cause pain! =) Tough loss for your boys last Saturday and I’m predicting another loss this week…
awwwww! you are a little swollen, but you’re still gorgeous and your belly is PERFECT!!!!!!!
My feet looked very similar. My feet, legs and face finally stopped being swollen when my daughter was about a week old. It’s nice to look down and see my feet again, not some strange puffed up version.
You’re looking amazing, btw.
I swelled up like a balloon similarly. Yeah! Hope the edema isn’t too painfu because no one ever tells you that swelling can cause pain. Anyway , you are still gorgeous and your belly is perfect.
So who’s bigger right now? The baby bump, or Jackson? 😉
You look fantastic… and I love that your toes are painted and beautiful even with the swelling. Almost there mama!!!
You look pretty~ even at 37 weeks!
Love the new house too.
Oh man, it wasn’t too long ago that my belly was that big while holding my 18 month old. You brought back the memories with your photos!
