December, 1988. I was 8 years old when my Uncle Rodney stopped by our house with a shiny, red piece of metal– about 4 inches long. I was thrilled when he told me where it came from. Santa’s sleigh had broken down on his roof and my Uncle helped him fix the sleigh and get back on “the road.” My Uncle made my year by giving me the piece of Santa’s sleigh. I could not believe that out of ALL the kids in the World, Santa broke down at MY Uncle’s house and I had a piece of his sleigh. I treasured that chunk of metal for years, holding it in my hands when I wanted to feel the magic of Christmas.
August 2012. Now I’m a Mom of 2 and was lucky enough to attend the BlogHer convention in New York City. I had the pleasure of meeting some really cool companies, one of them being Your Santa Story. After talking to the nice people at their booth, the warm feelings I had about my childhood memories came rushing back. Your Santa Story offers families a customized DVD with a video message from Santa: for everyone in the family, including pets! Santa will talk to each child in the family by name and even mention special accomplishments or milestones.
I ordered one for our family and I can’t wait to put it on Christmas morning and see Jackson’s eyes light up when Santa calls him by name and tells him what a great big brother he is to his sister, Sidney. There’s even a special ending that tells the kids where he hid one last gift (we are hiding a special gift under the desk). This will be the first year Jackson really understands Santa, so I can’t wait for him to have special holiday memories thanks to Your Santa Story!
You can order Your Santa Story online now, but quantities are limited so don’t wait. You can get your family’s Your Santa Story for only $29.95 (+ $5.99 shipping) at YourSantaStory.com– a small price to pay for Christmas memories that will last a lifetime.
Your Santa Story has generously offered one lucky Baby Gators Den reader their very own personalized Your Santa Story!
