I mentioned to you all on Thursday about the new phone I am pumped to be reviewing: the Windows Phone 8X by HTC. I am a technology GEEK and proud of it. When some wives ask for jewelry or handbags, I’ve always loved for gifts from my husband to be of the electronic variety: phones, laptops, you name it! With the Windows Phone 8X by HTC, you can get all of that in one beautifully designed smartphone.
This is my first experience with a Windows Phone and the first word that came to mind when I powered up the 8X was “WOW!” This is a beautiful, sleek phone. Even Sidney wanted to touch it!
I’ve had the phone for a week now and am very impressed! As an Apple lover for the past 7 years, I didn’t think another smartphone could compare. I was wrong, this phone is very cool and one feature I love is that it is way more customizable. I had a blast setting up the home screen and changing the colors to my favorites (pink! purple!). I have spent hours playing with the settings alone.
We had some friends over tonight to watch the Patriots game & I had so much fun using the Windows Phone 8X camera and video. Here are a couple pictures of the food I made for the game: a veggie platter, chips & salsa and some “skinny” buffalo wings (recipe thanks to Weight Watchers). Check out the quality of these pics, taken with my 8X: awesome, right?
The 8X comes in vibrant colors, I was lucky enough to get a gorgeous Gator blue! What color would you choose for your Windows Phone 8x?

That looks like a great phone!! I am a HUGE HTC fan, might have to check this one out when I get my upgrade this year. I think I’d go for the yellow, its such a different unique color for a phone.
