Thursday already? Yikes, this week has moved fast & slow all at once. Kids are still sick and now I am feeling under the weather… today’s #weekinmylife post is going to be an abbreviated one. With pictures, of course.
- we felt stir crazy this morning, so we took a stroll around the neighborhood and parked our stroller across the street from an excavator and just watched it dig. and dig.
- it was chilly enough to turn on the fireplace this morning. (or I just have the flu, I am not sure)
- our security system now has an annoying CHIME every time someone comes in or out, thanks to Jackson who now opens the back door whenever he feels like it
- Sidney carries her Little People around in her mouth, makes me laugh every time
- Jackson ate an entire uncrustable today, that’s practically unheard of with his failure to thrive appetite
- dinner was leftovers from our book club last night and Sidney DESTROYED meatballs from Providence’s Venda Ravioli
- another hurricane is headed our way. Seriously? I thought I left that weather phenomenon back in Florida and now we are dealing with another one a year after Irene. Rhode Islanders, you have to follow Fred Campagna & his new site, RightWeather.net, for the best updates (plus side- no enduring ABC6 anymore!).
- it looks like Halloween is going to be a bust with the Hurricane Sandy hitting us. *sigh*

that picture of sidney just made me SMILE HUGE. and so did the picture of you and jackson together. SO much cuteness!!!!
HURRICANE, GO AWAY.

I love your mantle. I do not want Sandy to ruin Halloween, especially after what I’ve been through with these costumes. I may have to take them to every costume event I can find.

SO BUMMED about the hurricane. Ugh. Stephanie is finally doing great at school and if it has to close Tuesday i’m afraid missing a day and going a whole week without school is going to mess her up. Plus she’d miss the Halloween party.Sigh. Hurricanes at the end of October? No thanks! Sorry you are all so sick…we are here, too. I’m trying hard to fight it! Mommies can’t get sick. Lol. Feel better soon xoxo

Now I’m craving Venda Ravioli! It’s dangerous that we are about two streets over!
I hope this storm does not hit!! I love Venda- it is two minutes from my work! I go there every Friday:)

Yeah, this storm is not awesome. We weren’t going to be trick or treating on Halloween, just seeing grandparents, I just don’t want to deal with the storm at all! Losing power, and all that other nonsense. Ugh!! Hope you are all feeling better!

Excavators and a fire in the fireplace. Sounds like a pretty perfect morning. We are preparing for the storm as well, I hope that Trick-or-Treating can still happen, I don’t think I can handle the little guy’s broken heart if it is. The extra fun for us is that my mom will be in town from the midwest. I think this might be her first hurricane. Stay safe!
