The entire family ventured up to Boston (technically Chestnut Hill) for the Boston College/Maryland game. Being a Gator fan who greatly dislikes Florida State, it pains me to wear garnet and gold, but I do it for my husband every year. We had a great time visiting with friends and family. My Vermont cousin moved to the Boston area recently so she and her fiance came down to tailgate and cheer on BC with us.
It was a perfect day (weather-wise at least since my beloved Gators lost) and our new Kowalli came in extra-handy in the morning when it was still chilly out (definitely a tailgating must-have while babywearing up north!). The Eagles won so my husband was very happy. Fortunately I was so tired when we got home that I passed out when the kids went to bed (7pm) and missed the ending of the Gator game. Sidney is still waking up 3 times a night, I have no clue but it is definitely wearing on me!
I need to get going and prepare for Hurricane Sandy. On a side note, what the heck New England?! I thought I was moving AWAY from hurricanes when I moved up here. This is the SECOND hurricane in as many years we have dealt with.
I hope you stay safe if you live in Miss Sandy’s path. If you live in Southern New England, Fred from RightWeather.net is running a Sandy special for his PRO membership right now. We joined before he dropped the price and the personalized updates on our weather is worth every penny!
Just visiting for the first time?
