Since we’ve made our lifestyle change this year, my husband and I focus much more on our diet and exercise than before. An important component of this is making sure we eat enough protein to support our exercise routines in order to continue building muscle.
In addition to eating more locally raised, grass-fed meat, we will occasionally supplement our diets with protein powder.
One of our favorite “treats” is a protein smoothie after working out in the morning.
