I’ve spent a lot of time at the pool this summer with J. One of the awesome things about being a stay at home Mom is being able to spend time outside with my son when a few years ago I would be in a suit and high heels calling on Doctor’s offices. Being able to be outdoors more also means I’ve got a tan (for an Irish girl) for the first time since our wedding almost 5 years ago. Woot!
Besides getting a tan, I’ve also learned the ins & outs of taking a toddler to the pool.
- lots of snacks & water
- lots of toys and be ready to share with all the other kids
- extra swim diapers because when you don’t have one is when the dreaded “pool-poop” will happen
- towels for toddler & Mom
I recently got an email asking if I was interested in trying out a Toweligator. Being a huge Gator fan, of course I would want a cute gator clip to use at the beach and pool. It can be used for so many things, but we used it to hold towels onto the chairs and clip Goldfish bags closed in our bag.
They were even kind enough to send me a pack of blue Toweligators for J and pink for the baby girl. These cute little guys will be getting a lot of use here for years to come! Check them out 🙂
