Sock Monkey Birthday Bash!

Jackson’s birthday party was today and went off without a hitch. Ten of his best friends came to celebrate his first year of life with banana puffs, fresh milk from Munroe Dairy and the most fun of all: jamming with the Rock-a-baby band (more to come on this in the next few days).

Here are a couple of sneak peak pictures from today:

And lastly, the birthday boy waiting for his favorite band to start playing!

(All the other kids were playing in the ball pit in his bedroom at this point)

I hope you’ve enjoyed checking out our sock monkey decor! If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you’ll recall when I wrote about sock monkeys here and here, we love sock monkeys! A sock monkey birthday bash seemed like the natural choice for Jackson’s first party.

While planning for his party, I searched everywhere for sock monkey decorations and didn’t fall in love until I found Jill’s shop: Peas and Thank You’s. Buying the party decorations for the party from Jill saved me a ton of time and she was fabulous to work with, thanks Jill! I will definitely be returning to her for any other parties we host.

My Mom heads back to Florida tomorrow night, so after she leaves I will update with more details about the party and the incredible entertainment: Rock-a-baby. If you’re in Rhode Island you should be either attending one of their weekly classes or booking them for a birthday party, you will not be disappointed- I promise!

Cuteness Overload!!! I just love it. You are too crafty and I will have to steal some ideas for birthday number 2.

PS….How hard was it to not watch the Gators this weekend?!?!? I feel empty.

What a wonderful party Joanna! I can't believe our babies are now toddlers! Jackson is such a handsome little man and he knows it. That's why he plays it cool while flirting with all the ladies. 😉
