Breastfeeding is one of my favorite memories of having babies. When I was pregnant with Jackson, I decided that I would give breastfeeding a try but not worry about it if I had a hard time. I was not breastfed as a baby and neither was my Mom (back then my Gaga have her corn syrup and evaporated milk!), so I knew that a baby would be just fine with whatever I chose to feed him or her. However, I always thought that a relationship a mom has with her baby while breastfeeding was something very special (not to mention the health benefits for both Mom & baby).
After a very rough delivery with Jackson, I believe the universe blessed us with a smooth breastfeeding experience. Besides some mild soreness and anxiety about weight gain (in Jackson, not me), our nursing experience was easy. One worry that I had about breastfeeding was leaving my baby. How would he eat? Would he take milk from a bottle? What would I use to pump the milk? As a new Mom, I was very anxious about all things related to feedings. I bought an electric double breast pump and used it to build up a milk stash for Jackson to have when I left him. The pump I used got the job done, but it was huge and sometimes I felt like I needed a wheelbarrow to transport my “big black bag housing a pump” around.
I had Jackson a few years too early to use a Lansinoh Affinity Pro Double Electric Breast Pump but I would have loved to use this! First of all, it’s very compact and comes in a sleek bag that looks like it could be a stylish purse. Secondly, you know how I love technology, right? This pump has a LCD timer that allows you to manage your time effectively, which would have eliminated me watching the clock like a hawk to see how long I had pumped. Besides the cute carrying tote and timer, there are many more cool features:
- ComfortFit Flanges
- Maximum Hygiene Design: guarantees no milk back-up
- Adjustable Settings: customize the perfect suction and rhythm for you
- Bottle Stands: to prevent spills of your precious “liquid gold”
- Compact, Light Base: easy to carry with you and hassle-free
- AC Adapter/Battery: takes 6 AA batteries so if you aren’t near an outlet you won’t have to stand in the open at a public restroom during a wedding (I may or may not have done this)
- For long-term, daily use at home or away
- Compatible with any hands-free bra (this is awesome)
One lucky Baby Gators Den reader is going to win an Affinity Pro of their own, thanks to Lansinoh, but if you can’t wait to have your own, check Lansinoh out and purchase your own for only $129.99:

My best friend that is pregnant
Me!! Pregnant with 4th – gave all baby stuff away after 3rd.
Me please! Pregnant with number 2 🙂
This looks like a fabulous pump! I love the timer I used to watch the clock. This would be great for our baby on the way!

For me and baby Ariel
My neighbor. She tried for 4 years and is finally expecting!
I am pregnant now and the pump I have from my last pregnancy sucks!! and not in a good way!
I would love to win the pump to help with my 3 week old
I would love to win! I’m due in just over a month and will be returning to work.
I want to win for ME! I had an old pump that I bought used for $50. I shared it with my friend who managed to have babies about 6 months after me. As far as I know NINE babies were fed thanks to that pump. I loaned it out for the last baby and after about 15 years it finally quit. Now I need a pump to use when my surprise baby gets here.
For me!
Myself, lil one due in April
I would love to win one! Had a very bad breastfeeding experience a little over 2.5 years ago. Would love a different experience this time around.
P.s.- did I do this right? lol
Me! Just had baby a couple weeks ago and starting to figure out what to do for pumping to store milk for later.

My Friend! She Is Having Twins !:)
I’d like to win it for me!
My friend is expecting her first early this summer after trying for several years and I know she would be so grateful for one of these.
I would use it. My almost 2 year old daughter is still nursing and she doesn’t want to take in the cow’s milk so I think this would be great for me to express milk and put it in a bottle for her to start drinking on a bottle 🙂
my sister! she’s about to have a baby!
For myself if I decide to try pumping again.
Me! 🙂
My friend who is due next month would def. love this!!

I used 2 Lansinoh pumps with my children! Would love to gift this to my friend Jennifer, who really needs one before her baby arrives!
My sister and I have a friend who had struggles with nursing last time and could use a really nice quality double electric like this.
I would love to win for myself! I’ve been using a manual pump 🙁
I want it for me!
I would love to have this pump! I’ve been using a Medela Pump in Style advanced but it’s uncomfortable and bulky. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad I have it, but this sounds like it’d be right up my ally!
I would love this for myself!!!

I am pregnant with baby #2 after 5 years! She is due in April! And I can’t wait to breastfeed! Had issues the first time with my son because I didn’t know that much and people weren’t very supportive, but I am going booby first this time! And being head strong! Nothing can stop us now!
This would make nursing #2 so much easier when i’m away!
Myself!! My husband and I are expecting our 1st later this year!!!
Me and the milk-eater
