Our La-Z-Boy Playroom Re-do is Complete!

We have been living with our new La-Z-Boy sleeper for a few weeks now and I honestly don’t know how we lived without it for so long. The new sofa has completed our playroom/Mom room and made the space an essential living space of our family. The sofa is so comfortable that the kids nap on it, my husband has slept on it and it’s big enough that my friend and I can both comfortably share it during a play date.

The fabric of our La-Z-Boy sleeper is perfect for a family, including our dog. It has already been christened with chocolate milk spills (wiped right off!) and goldfish crumbs (vacuumed up easily) and still looks perfect. The cushions on the back are very supportive and I can spend hours on the sofa while watching the kids play (or getting some blogging in if I’m lucky). No one has spent the night on the pull out bed yet, but the kids have rested and I’ve laid on it while watching TV. The bed is SO easy to pull out you can do it one-handed. Here are a few pictures showing how simple it is to pull out the sleeper:

Jackson calls the couch “his” and I have found him more than once lounging on it reading a book or watching some TV. Having a playroom in the finished basement has also helped keep the rest of my house orderly. We try to keep it picked up, but it isn’t the end of the world if some toys are left out– just close the door and forget it! Since I always try to keep it real with you, here’s a picture of what our playroom usually looks like:

I’m impressed with how well-made La-Z-Boy’s furniture is and I know they will be my first choice whenever we buy new furniture. Check out my posts about shopping at La-Z-Boy and our La-Z-Boy delivery to find out more about my experience with La-Z-Boy. The staff at the Attleboro, MA La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries was incredibly helpful and friendly, making the shopping experience second-to-none. The fact that their salespeople are not pushy and actually want to help you find the right furniture for your home is huge to me. Next time you’re in the market for any type of furniture for your home, stop by your local La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries showroom and I know you will also be impressed with the selection and style.

I was provided with a credit towards La-Z-Boy furniture in the hopes that I would share my honest opinions. I received no monetary compensation and as always, the opinions expressed are my own.

  1. Wow – it looks really nice! I wouldn’t have thought to go to them for more structured looking furniture. I love that it looks comfy but still structured.

  4. Looks great! We may need to replace a sofa when we move next year and I was thinking a sleeper would be idea if we don’t end up with an extra bedroom. Add La-Z-Boy to the list of ideas! Oh, and your ‘messy’ picture? please, girl, that’s nothing ;-)
