We have had another super busy week here!
The grand finale of our hectic week was a special treat for Jackson, on Saturday we attended a concert by his favorite musician: Laurie Berkner! She came to Providence to the VMA and since we bought tickets several months ago, we lucked out with third row seats. The concert was definitely the earliest one I have ever been to *11AM*! We “Tailgated” with Jackson’s buddy Ella at Panera beforehand. How cute is she cheesing it up for the camera while Jackson is trying to leap out of his highchair?
My little man was in awe and Laurie did not disappoint! My favorite song of hers is “5 Days Old” because it brings back memories of singing it to Jackson when he was only 5 days old. Time moves so fast when you have children! Here’s a little video we took of her singing it (apologies for the poor video & photo quality of this posts, I only took my iPhone to the concert):
If you ever get the chance to see Laurie Berkner live, I highly recommend it! Kids were dancing in the aisles having a great time.
