Meh.
I hate to say it, but this is the first month Ipsy has disappointed me. It’s just blah. Here is what my bag included:
Coast Scents Shadow Palette Sample: I don’t think I’ll every wear any of these colors, so I will give them to any friend who wants them
Pixi Flawless & Poreless Primer: I guess I’m just primered out, but I feel like I have too many primers for my own good, but this is in a small size that will be good for travel
POP Beauty Smokey Lash Kapow Mascara: this is probably the only thing in this month’s bag that I’ll actually use. Haven’t tried it yet, but I love trying new mascaras out
Mica Beauty Gel Eyeliner: Eh. I don’t think I will ever, ever use this. Seems really messy and I’m not inclined to use this type of eyeliner at all. Also, looks really hard to apply… I wouldn’t even know where to begin.
Lash Card: Umm. I don’t think applying mascara is hard enough to add *another* tool to my makeup routine. I guess I will try it out since it is sitting on my makeup counter, but it isn’t something I would go out and buy.
The bag itself is a black patent leather bag that feels cheaper than earlier Ipsy bags. Granted, the subscription is only $10 a month, so I’ve probably gotten spoiled from previous months. If this was my first month of Ipsy, I would probably cancel my subscription but this is the first bad bag I’ve gotten so I’m going to see what March brings.
What did you think of February’s Ipsy bag?
I got the same and will probably only use the mascara as well!

Meh is a good way to describe it, I wasn’t super excited with the loot this month either. But you’re right, its because other bags have been so awesome! I will have to reassess after next month’s bag.

Oh wow – well this is only my second month since I resubscribed, and I’m quite happy! I wanted to try that particular primer out, and I am curious about the gel eyeliner. Although, a bit disappointed there wasn’t a brush to go with it.
So… I loved this particular bag! I see I’m in the minority, though!
I love my Ipsy Feb. bag! It is my 2nd bag…. @Peej, I was hesitante to use the gel eyeliner but I tried it and I believe I will never go back to liquid eyeliner again. Just use an angle brush and is so easy to apply plus it is a$30 sample! (Soooo, if you still don’t want to try it, I will be more than glad to take it
Also, March 2013 looks promising!!
