I’m an admitted “lurker.” Meaning I read forums all the time, but never post. I’ve read DiaperSwappers.com forums since I started cloth diapering 6 months ago but have rarely posted and certainly never sold anything on there. My friend Beth was a lot braver than me and threw some things on there for sale and got rid of them; which motivated me to get rid of some diapers that don’t work well for Jackson. I started out selling a diaper I never used anymore (ImseVime AIO’s) and then found myself trading a woman to get Rumparooz & BumGenius Organics for all of my gDiapers. I’m so excited to finally get rid of these diapers that have been sitting around unused in my sewing room!
I’ve spent all weekend on Diaper Swappers listing and selling diapers. Tomorrow Jackson and I will head to the post office with packages full of diapers headed to their new homes in South Carolina, Utah, Alaska & even a military base in Germany!
I had to bribe Rex with a cookie to sit for this picture. Nobody does anything around here without getting something for it apparently… The minky diaper out front is a little shout out to my friend Beth who will be getting that on Tuesday when we take a road trip to the Cloth Diaper Exchange on Tuesday. Charlotte gets a minky diaper which will fit her better than Jackson and he gets a new Rumparooz diaper which is a better fit on him! A win-win 🙂
Cloth diapering is still going great for us! My favorites are Rumparooz and Greg’s favorites are BumGenius All in One’s (they have velcro). I haven’t really been using cloth wipes though because I can’t keep them from stinking in the wipes warmer, I’m sure we will go back to them though.
My friend Katie is going to be featuring several different writers, including myself, on her blog “Pickles & Paisleys” talking about different aspects of cloth diapering. I’ll keep you posted, it will be very helpful- especially for those just venturing into cloth diapers!
Wow! I feel like a celebrity now that i have been mentioned in your blog! Great post…. I spent most of my weekend on Diaper Swappers as well. 🙂
I just started cloth diapering (part time) a week ago, and so far it has worked out. So far, I have purchased a bum genius 4.0 and a rumparooz, and i really like them both. I was worried, however, about how expensive it would be to purchase as many as would be needed. I can't wait to check out the site!
I am your newest follower by the way, following from Twitter. I look forward to reading more from you!
