My close friends and family know how much I love technology, especially my iPad. I carry it all around my house to read, listen to the radio and recently, using it as a cookbook. A friend told me about a new app for the iPad, “Big Fork Little Fork,” a premium cooking guide and recipe collection. I can’t wait to try it out because since Jackson was born, I am always looking for new recipes to try out. I hate getting stuck in a rut making the same meals: tacos, stir fry, turkey burgers and grilled chicken.
I love that the app was designed with celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson and developed with parents in mind. I am looking forward to trying out the app because I am always looking to broaden Jackson’s palate and get inspiration for new meals. I am downloading it tonight and will get back to you guys with how my recipe repertoire has expanded 🙂
You can download the app for free until December 31, 2010 at: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/big-fork-little-fork/id379783460?mt=8. The new and exclusive recipe collection from celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson is also available for download for only $4.99; a lot cheaper than an old-fashioned cook book!
*I wrote this blog post while participating in a TwitterMoms program, making me eligible to get an iTunes gift card in order to purchase the Marcus Samuelsson recipe collection on Big Fork Little Fork free. For more information on how you can participate, click here.
