BabyGanics Smooth Moves Daily Lotion SPF {review}

If you’ve read my blog before, you probably know about my issues with skin cancer. Because I’ve dealt with this since I was a teenager, I’m obsessed with keeping my kids safe from the sun.

In the summer, I coat them with sunscreen before we even leave the house. We make sure to reapply throughout the day, keep their faces covered with hats and long sleeves on their arms. Parents are usually vigilant about sun protection in the summer, but did you know sun damage can happen year round? Even in the winter in New England? It can.

I’ve been on the hunt for quite some time for kids’ sun protection that isn’t super thick and greasy.  I wanted something to put on them every day that didn’t feel goopy and make them leave grease marks on everything they touched. Fortunately, BabyGanics has made the exact protection I was looking for with Smooth Moves: Moisturizing Lotion with 15 SPF.

Smooth Moves is a fragrance free, NATURAL lotion with the added {super-important} benefit of SPF 15. It’s a mineral, plant-based formula with NO PABA, parabens, pthalates, nano particles or retinal palmitate. I feel confident putting this on my kids every day that I’m not coating them in chemicals in order to protect them from the sun. It’s a very nice lotion that keeps even “dry-skin Jackson” moisturized for the day. I’m a big fan and if you’re looking to protect your children from the sun’s rays year-round, give BabyGanics: Smooth Moves a try. You can purchase BabyGanics on their web site  for only $8,99 or the stores below:
