An Alex & Ani Giveaway for My Readers

alexandani

2011 has been a hell of a year, both good & bad. I’m looking forward to a brand new year in just days and as a thank you to my readers, I’m giving away one of my favorite new things: an Alex & Ani bracelet. I love Alex & Ani because they are a local Rhode Island company and the bracelets are really unique and fun to wear.

I bought the “Compass” bracelet for one lucky reader because of what it means. According to the Alex & Ani web site, the Compass bracelet means:

An instrumental aid, a compass provides guidance and navigation through life’s unexpected twists and turns. Each cardinal direction has a significant meaning. North represents home and infinite possibility. South embodies passion and the present. East signifies new beginnings and the future. West symbolizes emotion and the past. Wear the Compass Charm to guide you in the right direction.

I think we could all use a Compass these days. To enter, just leave a comment letting me know what you’re thankful for this year {make sure to use the rafflecopter widget at the bottom of this post letting me know you commented!}.
For example, mine would be: I’m thankful for family, friends and all of you!
There are plenty of additional ways to win if you’re interested, but none of them are mandatory- they only increase your chances of winning! I’ll use random.org to draw a winner on New Year’s day and will ship it out next week.

I hope you have a WONDERFUL New Year and 2012 brings you many blessings. Thanks for reading :)

Nursing Hands-Free with the KoalaKin

I was hopeful that my nursing relationship with my daughter would go as well, especially with the challenge of having a 2 year old at home as well. I knew that the dynamic of nursing a newborn with another child who also wanted my attention would be a challenge.
